AZACYTIN 300 TABLET contains Azacitidine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticancer agents.
It is used in adults to treat acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). AML is a type of blood cancer where the bone marrow releases excess amount of immature white blood cells into the blood stream. It is characterised by recurrent infections, fever, tiredness and increased bleeding or bruising.
AZACYTIN 300 TABLET also helps in controlling AML when the disease is less severe or not active. Before taking AZACYTIN 300 TABLET inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems.

- Increased bleeding or bruising due to a low blood platelet count
- Severe infections with fever due to low WBC count in blood
- Severe diarrhoea, vomiting or nausea
