Introduction:
Prosia 5mcg Patch contains the active constituent buprenorphine. It is used to relieve moderate, long-lasting pain. Talk to your doctor if you have severe headaches, heart rhythm problems, thyroid disorders, kidney disorders, problems in urinating, or liver problems before taking this medication. Also, inform your doctor if you have an addiction to drugs or alcohol, depression, breathing problems, myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), seizures, high temperature, or recently had an operation before taking this medicine.
Prosia 5mcg Patch should not be used to relieve acute pain. It may cause a positive reaction to sports doping control tests. It is not recommended for children and adolescents below 18 years. Drinking alcohol while being treated with this medicine may worsen the side effects and affect your reaction time. Do not take hot baths, use hot tubs, electric blankets, saunas, or heated waterbeds, or drive while being treated with this medicine.
Instructions:
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer. Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Do not cut or divide the patch. You should not apply more than two patches at the same time.
