Introduction:

Azashine Injection is an anticancer medication used to treat Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a group of disorders where the bone marrow produces abnormal blood cells, which can lead to low levels of healthy blood cells. This Azashine belongs to a class of medications called demethylation agents, which work by inhibiting DNA methylation, a process that can lead to abnormal gene expression and cellular dysfunction. By inhibiting DNA methylation, Azashine can help to restore normal gene expression and promote the growth of healthy blood cells while killing abnormal cells in the bone marrow.
